The Effectiveness of Cognitive Hypnotherapy in Strengthening the Psychological Security for Female Students at Alfaisal University

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of cognitive hypnotherapy in strengthening psychological security. Based on the nature and goals of the study, the researcher used the quasi-experimental method. The study population consisted of all female students at Alfaisal university, and the study sample consisted of a basic sample of 51 female students. 18 female students were selected in the empirical sample. The study showed the effectiveness of cognitive hypnotherapy in strengthening psychological security. This was shown by the statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the experimental group and the control group in the measure of psychological security after applying the program, in favor of the experimental group. It was also shown by the statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the experimental group before and after the application of the program on the scale of psychological security in favor of the experimental group. The main recommendation is to draw the attention of those in charge of educational policies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (General Administration for Student Guidance in the Ministry of Education) at all levels to the effectiveness of cognitive hypnotherapy as an effective new method never before used in the Saudi Arabian educational environment.
