Abstract

Combating online rumors requires concerted efforts and the assumption of their responsibilities by various parties within a framework of the concepts of rapid correction, openness and communication,  which establish an environment less susceptible to the spread of rumors, fake news and  deepfake crimes, as  the ubiquitous nature of social media platforms has led to the generation of a large amount of multimedia data, reaching 4.9 billion users around the world and through the use of artificial intelligence techniques To manipulate public awareness and promote false ideas and information, and the importance of research came  in identifying the sources of psychological warfare and rumors through the Internet environment and cyberspace and the mechanisms of their work in spreading bad news and harming societies and the dangers of electronic battalions,  and the descriptive analytical approach was used to treat the problem of electronic rumors and the results found that  Rumors and lies represent one of the tools of fifth-generation wars through social media platforms  and have become a powerful and influential information tool and have become the means of communication influential in  daily events and have risks to national security and the  most important recommendations came to use  artificial intelligence applications in the development of combating the dissemination of rumors and confronting posts “publications” bad using (machine learning, neural networks, algorithms, and information analysis), as well as the development  of   Strategies of the security media in the security apparatus and support strategies to raise awareness against risks within societies.
