Abstract

The world’s shift towards robots and reliance on them poses the greatest challenge for law, particularly criminal law. Discussions on robot crimes, especially terrorist ones, necessitate addressing the issue of criminalization related to smart systems and modern technology, and establishing criminal responsibility when a terrorist crime is committed using intelligent robots, applying the rule against impunity.
This study attempts to fortify the legal environment for combating terrorism crimes before the misuse of robots becomes widespread. The researcher employed a descriptive analytical approach to examine how terrorists exploit modern technology and use robots to achieve their goals, . Key findings include legislative gaps in dealing with crimes committed by artificially intelligent devices, especially robots. Recommendations include encouraging international cooperation to exchange knowledge and practices in combating robot-utilized terrorism and developing joint strategies for prevention.
